Girls on Key hosts poetry readings and events around Australia and New Zealand, as well as fringe festival events combining poetry, film, music and dance. We celebrate women's poetry and support lgbtqia+ poets and gender diverse poetry and spoken word. Our events have taken place in Port Kembla, Wollongong, Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne and Castlemaine. Currently, our poetry readings are held online through the Zoom platform (see below).

Girls on Key acknowledges the First Nations of Australia: the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. 

Please note that Girls on Key Melbourne is now an independently run event called Radio Laria, run by Laura Fisher and her team, still on the first Wednesday of the month at Open Studio in Northcote, Melbourne, Australia.
